Gorakhpur, August 18 (HS). Dress code will be implemented for faculty members and medal winners, degree recipients for the 43rd convocation of Deendayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University to be held on August 30.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Poonam Tandon emphasised the importance of the dress code and said that the introduction of the dress code for our convocation is a step towards strengthening our cultural heritage and inculcating a sense of pride among our faculty and students. It is our endeavour to ensure that the convocation remains a dignified and memorable event for all the participants.
He said that the convocation will be a significant occasion for the university, celebrating the academic achievements of the students and honouring distinguished guests. The implementation of the dress code will contribute to the solemnity and tradition of the event. The final approval of the proposed dress code will be given by the Executive Council.
