Hazaribagh, 22 August (HS). Drain will be constructed in Mandi Khurd of Sadar block at a cost of 1.57 crores. The Zila Parishad will construct about 1.5 km of drain from DMFT fund. On Thursday, MP Manish Jaiswal laid the foundation stone for the construction.
The MP paid homage to Baba Saheb Dr Bhimrao by garlanding his statue at Kasiyadih turn in Mandai Khurd. The MP said that the construction of the drain will provide facilities to the residents of the locality. People will face problems during the rainy season. A drain will be constructed from Mandai Khurd's Badkikhori Manoj Yadav's house via the New Panchayat Bhawan to Ambedkar Chowk. The villagers of Rana Mohalla, Suman Nagar, Gauri Mohalla, Mahato Mohalla, Kasiyadih will benefit from this drain. The MP directed the contractor to do quality work.
