Chandigarh: Local Government Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh said that special attention is being given to making cities garbage free and clean sewerage, ensuring working condition of street lights and providing clean water.

On this occasion, the Minister received detailed information from the officials about the ongoing projects and unutilized funds under various schemes. He ordered the officials to spend the unused funds on development works as soon as possible. He told the officials that if the unutilized funds were not spent on development works in public interest, appropriate action would be taken against such officials.

The Cabinet Minister also took information about the Sewage Treatment Plant and Water Treatment Plant and asked the officials to expeditiously complete the ongoing projects of Sewage Treatment Plant and Water Treatment Plant.
