Srinagar, 26 November (Hindustan Reporter). Senior leaders of the National Conference (NC), including party president Dr Farooq Abdullah and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, have reached the holy city of Madinah today for the Umrah pilgrimage.
The NC leaders including prominent NC leaders Nasir Wani, Javed Dar, Tanveer Sadiq and Mushtaq Guru are visiting the two holy cities of Medina and Mecca as part of their spiritual journey. Upon reaching Madinah, the leaders visited Masjid-e-Nabawi, the second holiest site in Islam, where they prayed for divine guidance, mercy and peace for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
