He said that a double rail line will be constructed from Narkatiaganj to Darbhanga and Muzaffarpur via Sitamarhi. More than 40 railway overbridges will be constructed from Narkatiaganj to Darbhanga and Muzaffarpur. More than 300 bridges and culverts will also be constructed.

In this regard, a separate budget of Rs 4500 crore has been given by the Prime Minister. He said that after the construction of the double rail line, the train will run at a speed of 160 kilometers. Due to which passengers will be able to complete their journey in less time. After the operation of the said railway line, people of Valmikinagar, Narkatiaganj, Raxaul, Sitamarhi, Darbhanga and Muzaffarpur areas will get a lot of benefits.
