I believe that BRICS, as a diverse and inclusive forum, can play a positive role on all issues. Our approach in this regard should be people-centric. We have to give a message to the world that BRICS is not a divisive group but a group of common interests.

The BRICS group, a confluence of diverse thoughts and ideologies, is today inspiring the world to move towards positive cooperation. Our diversity, respect for each other and our tradition of moving forward with consensus are the foundation of our cooperation. It is our quality and the 'BRICS spirit' that attracts other countries to this platform. India will always fulfill its responsibility as a founding member of BRICS.
