Union Minister of State launched solar energy based mini drinking water scheme at a cost of Rs 18 lakh in Panchsheel Degree College, Village Mawai Kala Post, Halia and Shriram Prasad Singh Girls Intermediate College, Sherpur.
Establishment of solar energy based battery backup at a cost of Rs 25.26 lakh in Usha Devi Singh Law College Barewan Chunar, Kevalpatti Baijnath Secondary School Parasbandha Kamalpur and Vallabhbhai Patel Inter College, Gangapur.
Installation work of solar high mast light at a cost of Rs 1.25 lakh in Shri Maharana Pratap Adarsh Inter College Satidham, Rapuri Chunar and installation of electric high mast light at a cost of Rs 6.54 crore at 321 places under the Local Area Development Fund Scheme.
Installation work of electric semi high mast lights at 445 places in the district at a cost of Rs 9.07 crore under the Legislative Area Development Fund Scheme.
