However, the weather department has predicted heavy rain over large parts of Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana on December 26 and 27. Cold will increase due to rain. Cold wave will also prevail during this period.

The weather department said coastal Andhra Pradesh, northern Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Rayalaseema have recently received heavy rainfall. Rain also occurred in parts of Odisha, coastal West Bengal, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Assam and Meghalaya.
Snowfall alert in Himachal
There is a possibility of rain at some places in Himachal Pradesh on 23, 24 and 27 December. Orange alert has been issued for Una, Hamirpur, Bilaspur and Mandi districts during the next 24 hours. Snowfall in many areas of Himachal will further increase the cold.
The temperature in Kashmir is in minus
The temperature has gone below zero degrees in various parts of Kashmir. Lakes, waterfalls, rivers and water pipelines have frozen in Kashmir. The temperature here remains 14 to 18 degrees below minus. A large number of tourists are coming to Kashmir.
