Do not eat these fruits before sleeping: Eating fruits after dinner is a common practice. However, eating some fruits before sleeping at night can cause more harm than good. It leads to indigestion, weight gain and lack of sleep. Don't make the mistake of eating these five fruits before sleeping

watermelon
Watermelon fruit has a high water content which increases the amount of urine. So if you eat watermelon before sleeping then you have to go to the washroom again and again and your sleep gets disturbed.

Mango
Mangoes are rich in natural sugar and fiber. But eating mangoes just before sleeping increases the blood sugar level. This causes insomnia.

Citrus Fruits
Oranges, grapefruits and lemons are high in acid. Eating them before bedtime can cause acid reflux and heartburn. This causes severe discomfort and insomnia.

Pineapple
Pineapple contains an enzyme called bromelain which aids digestion. Eating it on an empty stomach can cause stomach problems. Bromelain increases the production of acid in the stomach, causing acid reflux and indigestion.
