What not to eat with jamun: We all wait for the rains as it brings a lot of relief from the humid heat. However, this season is more charming because our favorite fruit blackberry is available to eat in this season. It is considered beneficial not only in terms of taste but also in terms of health. Its consumption improves digestion, benefits heart health, removes anemia in the body, helps in weight loss and is also considered good for the skin. Despite these benefits, some precautions should be taken while eating berries. According to dietitian Aayushi Yadav, it is better to avoid consuming some things with this fruit, otherwise there is a risk of harm.

Do not eat blackberries on an empty stomach:
Eating blackberries on an empty stomach is harmful for health. If you consume blackberries in the morning without eating anything, it can cause problems like acidity, stomach pain and bloating. Since this fruit is good for digestion, it is better that you consume it only after eating something.

Avoid pickles:
There is no dearth of pickle lovers in India; it is often served with rice, khichdi or parathas. But pickle should not be tasted immediately after eating jamun as it can cause stomach problems.

Do not drink milk even by mistake:
Milk and other dairy products should not be consumed immediately after consuming berries, as it is not good for the stomach. Due to which problems like indigestion, gas and stomach pain can be faced.

Do not eat turmeric:
Do not consume any recipe using turmeric immediately after eating blackberry, the combination of these two foods is not good for health. Because it can react in the stomach which can lead to many problems. There should be a gap of at least half an hour between eating both the foods.

Do not drink water after eating berries:
If you drink water immediately after eating berries, then you are unnecessarily inviting many health risks. In such a situation, problems like indigestion and diarrhea can arise. Generally, water should be drunk only after about 30 to 40 minutes of consuming berries.
