Mumbai – The batch of 1999 of ITI Mumbai earned a total of Rs. Has gifted a fund of Rs. With this gift, IIT Mumbai has now received great support in realizing ‘Vision 2030’. Efforts will be made to promote research activities with this fund.
An affectionate get-together of IIT Mumbai alumni was organized at the IIT campus on Sunday morning. IIT also unveiled a plaque in honor of the most brilliant alumni this year to recognize the contribution of alumni to the growth of the institute. Also, three alumni were honored with ‘Special Service Award’ and six students were honored with ‘Chapter Service Award’. As part of the programme, tribute was also paid to former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh.
Alumni are a great strength of IIT Bombay. They are always contributing not only with money but also through their knowledge and industrial experience in a way that will be useful to the institute, expressed his appreciation to the Administrator of IIT Bombay.
