US Presidential Election: Donald Trump reached Milwaukee, Wisconsin after the deadly attack in Pennsylvania. It is believed that his name is certain to be announced as the presidential candidate in the Republican Party convention starting on Monday (July 15).
According to HT's report, more than 2,400 Republican delegates are gathering at the Fiserv Forum in the swing state of Wisconsin. Apart from this, more than 50,000 people are expected to attend the event. Tight security arrangements have been made for the conference after the shooting on Saturday.
In fact, Trump posted on his Truthout social site on Sunday that he was going to postpone his trip to Wisconsin and the Republican National Convention by two days, but I have just decided that I cannot contact any shooter or potential shooter or allow the killer to schedule or change anything.
Also, speakers at the conference may target the Biden administration over its immigration policy, calling immigration from the southern border an attack. Apart from this, the Trump administration may also promise the largest deportation process in US history.
Meanwhile, conference speakers will criticize the Biden administration for its withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan, involvement in the Ukraine war without an end goal, its approach to China and the Israel-Hamas war, and its alleged appeasement of Iran. In contrast, Trump loyalists will portray his administration as a time when the US did not go to war, confronted adversaries such as China, and pitted the Republican candidate against the Russia-China-North Korea-Iran axis, prevented another war, and was portrayed as a capable man.
