Dog bite case- BJP MP raised the issue of dog bites in Parliament. Ghaziabad BJP MP Atul Garg raised this issue. The BJP MP said that in response to a question in Parliament, it was said that 30.5 lakh people have been bitten by dogs across the country.
286 people have died in this. If this figure is correct then in my Ghaziabad, 35 thousand people have been bitten by dogs in a year. Small children are the biggest victims of this.
Referring to a report published in a newspaper in the Lok Sabha, the MP said that a dog bit a child's ear in Ghaziabad. Four days ago, the news came that a child had died a painful death due to rabies. If a pet dog bites someone, then its owner is responsible. If a dog makes a mess, then someone is responsible for that too. But if a stray dog bites, then no dog lover comes forward.
The MP said, “Mr. Chairman, I request you to form a committee and reconsider this. Those who are saying that the work of ABC is going well. I want to ask them why the number of people dying due to dog bites is increasing?”
BJP MP Atul Garg said that your request is that many cases have been reconsidered inside the Parliament and inside the Supreme Court. A rule has been made that if a dog has been sterilized, it will have to be left there again. In my city, children cannot play and people cannot walk. There is an atmosphere of terror in the city.
