Does talking too much on cell phone cause cancer? WHO made a shocking revelation…Know more | News India

The World Health Organization (WHO) has said in a new report that the use of mobile phones does not cause brain cancer. Many people around the world have used wireless technology. But cases of brain cancer have not increased. The report came on Tuesday. This also applies to those who talk on the phone for a long time or use mobile phones for more than ten years.

The study showed that
The previous report included 63 studies conducted between 1994 and 2022, which were evaluated by 11 researchers from 10 countries. The Australian Government's Radiation Protection Authority was also involved. Mark Elwood, a professor of cancer epidemiology at the University of Auckland in New Zealand, said the study reviewed the effects of radiofrequency, which is used in mobile phones as well as TVs, baby monitors and radar.

No threats found
He said no risk was found in any of the questions asked. The report also studied the risk of brain cancer, pituitary gland, salivary gland and leukemia cancer in adults and children and the risk of mobile phones, base stations or transmitters. Other cancers will be discussed separately.

A similar report had come before this report. The World Health Organization and other international organizations have already said that the radiation emitted from mobile phones does not cause any harm. But they called for more research. It is currently classified by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) as 'possibly carcinogenic' or class 2B, a category used when the agency cannot say there is no risk.
