Jabalpur, June 10 (HS). Many patients returned today due to the absence of a doctor in the Ayush wing of the Ayurveda department located in Victoria Hospital. A doctor is posted in the Ayurvedic department of the Ayush wing, while in its homeopathic department, other staff is also posted along with the doctor, but the situation was such that today there was no staff in homeopathy nor Ayurveda and homeopathic doctor, only Ayurveda staff was there. According to the rules, the duty of a doctor is necessary at this place, but the absence of even one of the three doctors is a cause of negligence somewhere. When District Ayurveda Officer Dr. Archana Maravi was talked to in this regard, she told that the doctor himself is ill and is on leave, one doctor remains on alternate duty. Along with this, the staff posted in the homeopathic department is also on leave.
The Ayurveda officer said that when information was received that the homeopathic staff was not present and the department was vacant, other staff was arranged by calling from other places. Which reached at 1 pm. Therefore, there was no one in this department which opens at the scheduled time in the morning till 1 pm. When Dr. Ansari posted in the Ayush wing was talked to, he said that I have duty in the District Ayurveda College for a few days in a week.
Even if we accept what Dr Ansari says and the rest of the doctors are on leave, then whom will the patients depend on for treatment. Overall, if the doctors go on leave then the patients cannot be treated in the Ayush wing on that day. The same thing happened on Monday, due to the absence of two Ayurveda doctors and one homeopathic doctor, the patients could not get the facility today. Anyway, whatever may be the case, but if work is done as per the system in this wing opened in the name of facilities, then perhaps there will be no shortage of doctors and patients will not have to wander around. Along with this, the patients should not have to remain deprived of this Ayurvedic and Homeopathic facility.
