Many people are using apps for UPI, but you have to take care not to use any fake app. Many times fake QR is used for payment, in such a situation scammers can show you fake transaction message on the phone display, whereas in reality money is not credited to the account. In such a situation, always keep checking your bank account whether the sender's money has arrived or not.
To avoid UPI scams, verify the person's account before giving money and while taking money, trust only the message from your bank account and not the message from the sender, as this message may also be fake.
