Similarly, the kitchen is given a lot of importance in Hinduism. It is considered a holy place, where the food prepared gives a person the strength to live. Roti is made every day. According to Hindu belief, the rules related to the roti made in the kitchen should be followed. Otherwise there is no prosperity in the house. Along with this, many kinds of problems also start happening.

Roti should not be made on this day. Ekadashi
Eating rice on the day of fasting is considered forbidden. On the other hand, roti is not made in the house on Diwali, Sharad Purnima, Sheetalashtami, Nagpanchami and on someone's death. Mother Annapurna gets angry if this rule is not followed. Such people have to face shortage of food and money.

Do not make rotis by counting
Asking your family members before making roti how much they will eat or counting while feeding or eating roti is a very bad habit. It is not considered auspicious in Hinduism. Roti is related to the Sun and when you make it by counting, you are insulting the Sun God. In such a situation, a person has to face many problems.

Keep the direction in mind while making roti
While cooking, you should also keep in mind some Vastu rules. The stove on which you cook food should be in the south-east corner of your kitchen. While making roti, your face should be towards the east.

Give the first roti to the cow
The first roti made in the kitchen should always be given to the cow. If you cannot feed the roti to the cow, then you can feed the first roti to the dog. By feeding roti to the cow or dog, all the problems of the people living in that house are removed.
