Face Authentication: Download ‘Jeevan Pramaan’ and ‘AadhaarFaceRD’ apps on your smartphone. In this, the certificate is submitted sitting at home just by scanning the face.
Doorstep Banking: You can call the bank and get a representative at your home (a nominal fee may be charged for this).
Postman Service: India Post Payment Bank (IPPB) postmen can come to your home and make DLC through biometrics.
UMANG App: You can also generate it by searching ‘Jeevan Pramaan’ on Umang app.
Common Service Centers (CSC): You can submit the biometric (thumb impression) certificate by visiting any nearby public convenience center.
3. Required documents and information
Have these things handy before starting the process:
aadhaar number (Which is linked to the pension account).
PPO number (Pension Payment Order).
Bank account statement (Where the pension comes from).
mobile number (For OTP).
4. What if the certificate is rejected?
Many times the certificate gets rejected due to biometric mismatch or wrong PPO number being entered. Don’t panic in such a situation. You can immediately go to your bank branch (PDA) and fill the form manually and submit it.
