Uric acid is a type of impurity that is formed by the breakdown of a protein called purine present in food. Usually it reaches the kidneys through the blood and is excreted from the body through urine. But when its quantity in the body becomes too much, it turns into crystals and gets deposited in the joints, causing problems like arthritis.

The normal level of uric acid in women is 1.5 to 6.0 milligrams per deciliter (mg/dL) and in men it is 2.5 to 7.0 mg/dL. But if it is more than this, then it becomes necessary to change the diet immediately. In such a situation, if you consume these white foods, then avoid them immediately.
