All political parties are gearing up for the Lok Sabha elections. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Wednesday announced the election manifesto of his party DMK. Stalin's sister Kanimozhi and other party leaders were also present when the manifesto was released. In the manifesto, the party has promised statehood for Puducherry and ban on NEET exam. DMK has also announced the list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

After releasing the party's manifesto, Stalin addressed the people and said that the DMK party prepares the manifesto before the elections and we stick to our promises. This is what our leaders have taught us. Schemes implemented under the Dravidian model for the improvement of Tamil Nadu were launched across the country.
Kanimozhi prepared a manifesto keeping in mind the plans of every district
Praising his sister, Stalin said, Kanimozhi has prepared an excellent manifesto focusing on the schemes of each district. Stalin said that as Kanimozhi said, we toured the entire state and listened to the people. This is not just the manifesto of DMK but the manifesto of the people.
Manifesto announces special schemes for Tamil Nadu and each district
He said that when BJP came to power in 2014, they ruined the country. He did not fulfill any of his election promises. We formed the Bharat Alliance and we will form the government in 2024. We have announced special schemes for Tamil Nadu and each district in our manifesto. Stalin said on Prime Minister Modi's visit to Tamil Nadu that he would have been happy if PM Modi had come here even during the floods in the state.
What is special in DMK's manifesto:
- The Indian Constitution will be amended to give federal powers to the states.
- A branch of Supreme Court will be opened in Chennai
- Statehood for Puducherry
- National Education Policy (NEP) will be withdrawn
- 33 percent reservation will be implemented for women
- Breakfast Scheme for Government Schools
- NEET will be banned
- Women across the country get Rs. every month. 1,000
- toll gate will be removed
- CAA will be removed
- Loans taken for the education of students will be cancelled.
- Article 361 empowering the Governor will be repealed.
- New IIT, IIM and IISc will be created
