DMK has sleepless nights due to BJP's public support: Modi

Before the Lok Sabha elections, BJP's mission south continues. Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Salem in Tamil Nadu on Tuesday morning after a road show in Palakkad, Kerala, where he addressed a public meeting. In the public meeting, he targeted the ruling DMK in the state and said that the support being received by NDA has given sleepless nights to DMK. The entire country is watching the public support BJP is getting in Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu has already decided that on April 19, one vote each will go to BJP and NDA. Taking aim at the opposition, the Prime Minister said that the election campaign is still in its initial phase and the plans of the opposition alliance were revealed in his first rally in Mumbai. They say that they want to destroy the powers in which Hinduism believes. Everyone in Tamil Nadu knows what Shakti is called in Hinduism. People of Indi Alliance are deliberately insulting Hindu religion again and again. The Prime Minister said the opposition alliance of DMK and Congress does not insult any other religion, they do not utter a single word against any other religion but do not waste even a second in defaming Hinduism. Shakti in Hindu religion means mother power, women power… But the opposition alliance Congress and DMK are saying that they will destroy Shakti but Modi is standing as a shield against every problem of women power in the country. PM Modi also mentioned the schemes launched by his government for women empowerment.

Salem's Ramesh is not present today: PM gets emotional remembering the slain worker

In the public meeting in Salem, PM Modi became emotional remembering the BJP worker killed 10 years ago. He stopped speaking for a few moments. Remembering the worker, Modi said that I cannot forget Auditor Ramesh. Unfortunately, Ramesh is not with us today. He worked hard day and night for the party. He was also a good speaker. I pay tribute to him.
