Purnia, 1 October (Hindustan Reporter). Purnia District Magistrate Kundan Kumar visited the flood affected areas of Bayasi subdivision on Tuesday. He inspected Hathibandha and Rizwan Tola situated on the banks of Parman river of Bayasi block and took stock of the flood situation. Ajasa met the victims in Mauwaya village, distributed dry ration and inspected the medical camp.
After this the DM visited the flood affected areas of Amour and Vaisa blocks. Seeing the erosion in the diversion of SH 99, he expressed his displeasure and directed the sensor to repair it in two days. Also took stock of ration distribution and medical camp in Shishabari.
The DM directed the officials to expeditiously complete the survey of the affected areas and provide all possible assistance to the people. He also inspected the CHC under construction in Bayasi and asked to speed up the work. During this time many officers including Additional Collector, SDO Bayasi were present.
