DM-SP took stock of polling stations adjacent to India-Nepal border of Narpatganj

Araria, 08 April (HS). Regarding the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, on Monday, District Officer Inayat Khan, Superintendent of Police Amit Ranjan along with officials inspected the booths of Ghurna, Basmatia, Bela etc. areas adjacent to the India-Nepal border of Narpatganj block area. During the inspection of the booths, the arrangements for electricity, water, toilet ramp etc. were also reviewed.

Many necessary guidelines were given to the officers present regarding the convenience of the voters during voting. Besides, guidelines were also given regarding highly sensitive booths. During the inspection, the District Officer also met the voters and made them aware about voting fearlessly and impartially. During this, guidelines were also given regarding border security.

During the inspection of the booth, a large number of police forces including District Magistrate Inayat Khan, SP Amit Ranjan, Forbesganj DSP Mukesh Kumar Saha, DCLR Ankita Singh, Ghurna police station incharge Deepak Kumar, Basmatia police station incharge Amar Kumar were present.
