Kishanganj, 19 April (Hindus). The second training program of polling personnel was conducted in the district under the Lok Sabha general elections from 13 to 15 April. Meanwhile, on April 15, late Polling Officer-02 Iqbal Noori, who was undergoing training in room number 11 of the training venue Marwari College, died of a heart attack.
Regarding this, as per the provisions of the Election Commission of India, the Election Department, Bihar completed all the processes within 72 hours and on Friday, only Rs 15 lakh was approved as ex-gratia grant to Nikhat Praveen, the dependent of late Iqbal Noori. The sanctioned amount was paid into his account by District Election Officer cum District Magistrate, Tushar Singla and after reaching the house of the deceased, condolences were expressed along with his dependents, Nikhat Praveen and the bereaved family.
