Nawada 22 June (HS). DM Ashutosh Kumar Verma, DDC Deepak Kumar Mishra jointly flagged off the Kharif Mahabhiyan 2024 LED-equipped farmer awareness chariot on Saturday. It was told that the awareness chariot will visit all the blocks of the district and make farmers aware.
It was said that the main objective of the Kisan Jagrukta Rath is to make farmers aware about the Kharif season as well as to provide information about climate friendly agriculture, crop residue management, soil testing, mechanization, information about subsidy schemes, information about schemes for modern crops and all other information related to agriculture to the people. Information will be given to the farmers by going to their areas through the LED video publicity chariot, which will benefit maximum number of farmers of the district.
