Bareilly, 08 August (HS). DM Ravindra Kumar along with SSP Anurag Arya inspected the council pre-secondary school in village Udla Jagir of Bithri Chainpur development block. Meanwhile, the children were studying in the dark in the school, on which the DM expressed displeasure.
The DM enquired about the electricity arrangements. After which the DM directed the Executive Engineer Electricity to streamline the electricity supply in the school. After this the DM enquired about the presence of teachers and children there. On which the teacher informed that 276 children are registered in the school. Out of which 149 boys and 65 girls (total 214) children are present.
The DM sought information from the children about their dress, on which the children told that the dress has been provided by the school. Apart from this, the DM also saw the quality of food being prepared in the mid-day meal and gave necessary instructions regarding regular cleanliness in the school etc. During the inspection, instructions were given to seek clarification from the concerned officer when the app was not installed in the LCD installed in the smart class in the school.
