Surat: People who have not gone out during Diwali holidays are enjoying with their families at various places in Surat. The Nature Park at Sarthana and the Aquarium at Pal in the city were visited by a large number of tourists during public holidays and holidays. This year too, Nature Park and Aquarium have earned an income of Rs 40.11 lakh as a result of Diwali.
The Nature Park at Sarthana and Jagadishchandra Bose Aquarium at Pal in Surat city receive a large number of tourists during summer and Diwali holidays. Then along with the crowd the income also increases. Currently, during the Diwali holidays, the nature park received 1,06,238 tourists from October 28 to Tuesday, November 5.
Due to which the Nature Park earned an income of Rs 29,84,230. 572 on 28th October, 1072 on 29th, 1491 on 30th and then 6293 on 31st. Then the number of visitors increased to 22128 on Friday 1 November, 26753 on 2 November, 20838 on 3 November, 12506 on Monday 4 November and 14585 on Tuesday. On the second New Year, the maximum earning of Rs 7.61 lakh was from 26753 visitors.
At the same time, 12563 visitors came to Pal Aquarium from 31 October to 4 November. In this way the aquarium earned an income of Rs 10.27 lakh in six days. 1.92 lakh with 599 visitors on 31 October, 1736 on 1 November, 2442 on 2 November, 2517 on 3 November, 2876 on 4 November and 2393 on 5 November. Along with the nature park and aquarium, Gopitalav located in Navsari Bazaar is also a tourist destination for Suratis. During holidays a large number of people come here to spend time with family. During these Diwali holidays, 37593 tourists came to Gopitalav in six days and earned a revenue of Rs 8.08 lakh.
