Gorakhpur, 27 September (Hindustan Reporter). Inter-college Financial Awareness Quiz was organized on Friday by the Commerce Department of Saraswati Vidya Mandir Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Arya Nagar Gorakhpur. Students Divya Singh and Jigyasa Kumari became winners in this competition.
The objective of this program is to educate students about financial literacy and encourage them to make conscious decisions. The quiz was organized in collaboration with Knowledge Partners Investment Advisory.
Students from fourteen colleges participated in the quiz and demonstrated their knowledge on financial management, savings, investments and other related subjects. One teacher from each school was present to boost the morale of the participants. In which Dr. Farojan was the faculty of B.Com and Banking Insurance from Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University.
The chief guest of the program was Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Head of the Department of Commerce, Prof. Shrivardhan was a reader. Principal Dr. Reena Tripathi, coordinator Dr. Geeta, co-coordinator Dr. Madhu Ojha and secretary Dr. Sarika Gupta were present on this occasion.
The winners in this competition were Divya Singh and Jigyasa Kumari, students of B.Com and Banking Insurance from Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University. Dr. Manish Kumar, Coordinator of Banking and Insurance course, congratulated the girl students on their victory. At the end of the function, organizing committee members Simran Gupta, Anshita Agarwal and Aparna Gupta thanked all the participants and guests.
