Police officer Pankaj Atulkar became suspicious that if no official from the Prime Minister’s Office was visiting the city, then who could he be.
Hence, they detained and interrogated the man for further investigation. At that time he revealed his name as Ashok Bharat Thombre. He said that he is a member of the NITI Aayog of the Government of India. But on closer inspection, no identity card was found with him. It was found that he was giving false information.
When he was searched, a white board with “Government of India” written in red letters in Marathi in Marathi, as well as a board with “Government of India” written on it and an Indian national flag meant to be hoisted on a cart were found in his suitcase. He had kept a personal bodyguard named Vikas Prakash Pandagale with him for security. When it was revealed that it was all a case of fraud, the police registered a case against the duo at Waluj MIDC police station. Further action is being taken.
BJP youth leader’s body found, cause of death still a mystery
The body of BJP Yuva Morcha District Vice President Ganesh Raghunath Temkar (age 30), resident of Bhalgaon, Gangapur taluka of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district, has been found. On Friday (14) afternoon, the body was found near Nalkandi bridge at Narwadi Shivra on Hadiabad-Narwadi road in Gangapur taluka.
