Araria 19 August (HS). The newly elected district president of Araria District Journalists Association Rakesh Kumar Bhagat was honored in a program organized by the international organization Vishwa Maithil Manch at Bihar Sadan in Dwarka, New Delhi on Monday.
National President of Vishva Maithil Manch Radhey Shyam Mishra honoured him by putting a turban and flower garland, the symbol of Mithila and Maithil civilization and culture. Nationalist poet Vidhu Shekhar, Gopal Thakur etc were present on the occasion. Patron of the organisation Trilok Nath Jha, National Convenor cum President Khushboo Pathak, Swasti Jha, Secretary Manoj Kumar Jha, National Vice President Sridev Jha alias Polo Jha, National General Secretary Prakash Nath Mishra, Jharkhand Convenor Subir Kumar, Delhi State President Indrakant Thakur, Shiv Shankar Jha, Rajesh Kumar Mishra, Sanjay Pathak, Karishma Jha, Manish Pathak etc congratulated Rakesh Kumar Bhagat on his election as President of Araria District Journalists Association.
He expressed confidence that various dimensions of journalism along with positive and creative work will be taken forward uninterruptedly.
On the occasion, the newly elected District President Rakesh Kumar Bhagat while thanking the members of the forum mentioned various schemes for the welfare of the rural journalists of the district and expressed the expectation of required cooperation to implement them.
