District Magistrate inaugurated the four-day district level school sports competition | News India

Kishanganj, 03 September (HS). District Magistrate Tushar Singla inaugurated the district level school sports competition at Shaheed Ashfaq Ullah Khan Stadium in Khagra on Tuesday under the joint aegis of Sports Department Bihar Government and Bihar State Sports Authority, Patna and District Administration Kishanganj by lighting a lamp and releasing colorful balloons. Promoting sports, DM Tushar Singla inaugurated the sports by lighting the torch and taking an oath to play fairly and follow the rules. At the same time, the children of Saraswati Vidya Mandir marched past with the Jai Ghosh band in which all the players participated enthusiastically.

On this occasion, the DM said that the children and teams selected in the district level sports competition will participate in the state level (inter-district) sports competition. The DM gave his best wishes to all the players participating in this sports competition. He said that the government is putting a lot of emphasis on children playing sports. Recently, a world-class sports university has been built by the Bihar government where many kinds of sports have facilities up to international level.

He said that in the coming times, more and more children of Bihar will wave their flag in the Olympics. Recently, many players of our country have brought laurels to the country in the Olympics. He said that Olympics can be organized in India in 2036 or 2040, which is a matter of good fortune. He said that the children involved in the game should play the game with sportsmanship without worrying about victory or defeat. He thanked the Deputy Superintendent, Physical Education, all Physical Teachers, Team Leader, Assistant Teacher and all the associates for the successful organization of the game. Also, during the inauguration, a small girl demonstrated excellent yoga asanas and postures, which was highly appreciated by the people and the District Magistrate honored her by giving a medal.
