District level dance competition was organized at SIKS GHHS Udhampur

Udhampur, 24 February (Hindustan Reporter). Office of the Chief Education Officer hosted the District Level Dance Competition at SIKS GHSS Boys Udhampur. On this occasion, Chief Education Officer Geetu Bangotra was the chief guest and Deputy Chief Education Officer Kalpana Jasrotia was the special guest.

The competition started with a motivational speech by Geetu Bangotra, accompanied by Chand Krishna Pandita, DEPO Udhampur and Renu Kotwal, Vice Principal, SIKS HSS Boys Udhampur.

The event was part of the Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat initiative, which promotes cultural fusion between the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and the state of Tamil Nadu. Eleven secondary level schools participated in the event and gave captivating Tamil dance performances.

In the program, judges Sunita Tiku, Amandeep Kaur and Anuradha carefully evaluated the performance. In the competition, Supriya Sharma of GHSS Chak stood first, while Gudiya of GHSS Barta stood second and Tania Chaudhary of GHSS Battalbaliyan stood third.

Rakesh Singh DRG, Vivek Gupta and Amita Sharma PET played an important role in the success of the event. Appreciation certificates were presented to the winners and jury members, followed by refreshments to all the participants.
