Saharsa, August 30 (HS). A surprise inspection of the safe place operated for juveniles involved in legal disputes under the Juvenile Justice Act was done jointly by District and Sessions Judge Mr. Gopal ji and District Magistrate Mr. Vaibhav Chaudhary, Saharsa on Friday.
Juveniles involved in legal disputes between the ages of 16 to 21 years are housed in a safe place. Today, during the joint inspection, the District and Sessions Judge and the District Magistrate observed the arrangements made in all the housing rooms, class rooms, kitchen room, wash rooms etc. of the safe place. During the inspection, they seemed satisfied with the cleanliness of the premises. They saw the facilities in the housing room for the juveniles and took information from the housed juveniles regarding the facilities being provided and the problems being faced.
Going to the classroom, the District and Sessions Judge and the District Magistrate observed the teaching system being taught by the teacher and the study material available in the library. They motivated the resident teenagers to study with full dedication. During the inspection, the Judge and the District Magistrate also counselled the teenagers and taught them the tricks to move ahead in life. They went to the kitchen and store room and checked the food items. During the inspection, Chief Magistrate Mr. Manoj Kumar, District Child Protection Officer Mr. Shailendra Chaudhari, DPRO Alok Kumar and other concerned were present.
