Nawada, September 9 (HS). District Magistrate of Nawada, Ashutosh Kumar Verma has transferred two and a half acres of common non-cultivated land on the banks of Khuri river to the forest department for Khuri Eco Park, due to which the long-awaited demand of the people of Nawada district for the park seems to be fulfilled. This park is also considered a big gift for the people of Nawada due to the efforts of DM Ashutosh Kumar Verma.
DM Ashutosh Kumar Verma said that for a long time there was a demand to build a park in Nawada. For which a lot of efforts were made to find land. Finally, two and a half acres of good land suitable for the park was seen near Ram Lakhan Singh Yadav College on the banks of Khuri River. Which the district administration has transferred to the Forest Department. He said that the Minister in charge Dr. Prem Kumar and Nawada MP Vivek Thakur were also making a lot of efforts for the construction of the park.
Many public representatives had also requested the district administration to build a better park in Nawada. Taking care of the public interest, the district administration has transferred the land to the Forest Department for building a park on the banks of the Khuri River. Construction work will also begin on it with the efforts of the Forest Department. Forest and Environment Minister and District In-charge Minister Dr Prem Kumar had also said that if land is provided, a better park will be built in Nawada by the Forest Department. The DM has cleared the way for building the park by transferring the land.
