Jalaun, 07 August (HS). After water was released from Kota Barrage of Rajasthan and Matatila Dam of Lalitpur, the water level of Yamuna and Betwa rivers flowing through Jalaun district has increased. The district administration has issued control room numbers on Wednesday regarding the flood threat.
Let us tell you that the water level of the rivers in the district had increased since Tuesday and these rivers were flowing one meter below their danger mark. Regarding this, the District Magistrate had inspected the coastal areas of the Betwa river and 82 flood posts were alerted in view of the security arrangements. The District Magistrate has issued a 24-hour control room number 05162-257090 and made Naib Tehsildar Hardeep Kumar in-charge.
