The district administration and civil defense organized an exhibition on the occasion of Partition Horrors Remembrance Day in the Collectorate premises, District Information and Public Relations Department premises. The exhibition was visited by students of various schools and cadets of Scouts, Guides, NCC.

District Magistrate Indra Vikram Singh inaugurated the exhibition by cutting the ribbon.

The District Magistrate talked in detail with the students from Ingraham School about the Partition tragedy. During this, District Magistrate Indra Vikram Singh said that we all have to live together with love, unity and harmony so that the day of Partition tragedy does not come again. We all have to cooperate to take our country forward strongly. For this, all the children have to work hard with the spirit of nation building and make India's name shine in the whole world in education, sports and other fields. Our country is a secular country and we all are Indians. We should live considering our country as our home, do not litter anywhere, do not do those works which are not in the interest of the country.

While giving information to all the children about the colours of the national flag, the District Magistrate said that the saffron colour in our national flag gives the message of sacrifice, energy, white colour gives the message of peace, green colour gives the message of prosperity, greenery and Ashok Chakra gives the message of continuous activity. The District Magistrate saw all the exhibitions with the children. At the end of the programme, the District Magistrate paid tribute to the people who died during the Partition tragedy by lighting a candle and observing two minutes of silence.

Mainly Chief Development Officer Abhinav Gopal, District Development Officer Mrs. Pragya Shrivastava, District Information Officer Yogendra Pratap Singh, DPRO Pradeep Kumar Dwivedi, Anil Agarwal Deputy Chief Warden Civil Defence, Education Department officials along with a large number of students and teachers were present in the exhibition.
