Distribution of free plot certificates to 23 families of 4 villages of Gir Garha taluk located in eco-sensitive area.

Gir Somnath: Today, on the holy day of Dhanteras, in a program organized at Jamwala village under the chairmanship of Collector Digvijay Singh Jadeja, free plot assistance was distributed to 23 beneficiaries of Jamwala, Purana Ugla and Naya Ugla villages of Gir Gadha taluka.

These 4 villages are located in Eco Sensitive Zone, free plots were distributed to 23 beneficiaries approved by Taluka Land Committee in those villages.

These beneficiaries will now get Rs 1,20,000/-, approximately Rs. under MNREGA scheme. Rs 17,000/- and toilet and bathroom assistance and other benefits will be available under the SBM scheme.

Apart from this, the Collector has ordered to allot land for Anganwadi in this village falling in the eco-sensitive zone and to allocate Rs. from the Collector's grant. Help of Rs 12 lakh was announced.

Collector Digvijay Singh Jadeja said that now the Navla festival of Diwali is starting, today with the distribution of this Sanad, Diwali will be celebrated in the true sense in the homes of these needy beneficiaries.

Resident Additional Collector, District Panchayat Executive Chairman, Provincial Officer, Sub District Development Officer, Mamlatdar, Taluka Development Officer and other officers and officials were present in the programme.
