Jaipur, 4 October (Hindustan Reporter). After the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) action against Indian administrative officer Rajendra Vijay, his driver absconded. Based on suspicion, ACB has now started collecting information about the driver's assets. Apart from this, other information including bank accounts of the IAS son is also being scrutinized.
ACB DG Ravi Prakash said that on Wednesday, as soon as IAS Rajendra Vijay got wind of the search operation, his driver switched off his Chatar mobile and ran away. There was no trace of the driver even on the second day. During the search, ACB also found many land documents in the name of driver Chatar from Rajendra's house. ACB has received input that there is a lot of property in Chatar's name also. Now the situation will be clear only after he is caught. ACB fears that there will be a big disclosure of benami properties in its name also.
ACB searches at IAS's Dausa residence
Jaipur ACB team on Friday once again reached Shanti Niketan, the ancestral residence of IAS officer Rajendra Vijay, where during the search, the ACB team found only Rs 15 thousand in cash along with two silver coins and two silver rings. In the investigation which lasted for more than 4 hours, only a few rupees were found. During this time, IAS Rajendra Vijay's father Ramkaran was present in the house along with the ACB team. In front of him, the ACB team conducted a search operation in the house.
At present, ACB officials have denied finding any kind of document in the house during the search. Let us tell you that IAS officer Rajendra Vijay, originally a resident of Dubbi in Dausa district, was on the radar of ACB for the last 5 months in the case of disproportionate assets.
Dausa ACB DSP Naval Kishore said that during the investigation that lasted for more than 4 hours, only Rs 15,000 in cash, two silver coins and two silver rings were found in the house of IAS Rajendra Vijay in Dubbi. Apart from this, no other items were found in the house. However, he refused to give further details in the matter.
Family members missing in Mari Raid found 2 days ago
