Display of military weapons and bands at the military station

Jaipur, August 3 (HS). The Indian Army organized a military weapon, equipment and band display under the theme “Know Your Army” for students of APS, KV and other schools at Suratgarh Military Station, showcasing a wide range of infantry weapons, equipment, armored tanks, mechanized BMPs and artillery guns.

According to Public Relations Officer (Defence) Jaipur (Rajasthan) Colonel Amitabh Sharma, the highlights of the event included military band performance, motivational speech by a young Army officer sharing his experiences with school students, demonstration of infantry attack on enemy bunker and equipment display. The event was well received by the school students and they were very excited. The aim of the event was to motivate them to take up Army as a career and create awareness among children about various Army recruitment schemes.
