Discussion on goals, challenges and capabilities related to health and nutrition

Raipur, May 29 (HS). The meeting of the working committee constituted on the subject of quality health and nutrition to prepare the document “Amritkaal: Chhattisgarh Vision @ 2047” was held on Wednesday in the meeting hall of the State Policy Commission Atal Nagar Naya Raipur. The goals, challenges and capabilities related to quality health and nutrition were discussed in detail and suggestions were given by the members of the working committee.

In the meeting, officials of Health and Family Welfare Department and Women and Child Development Department gave detailed information about the goals, challenges and strengths of their department through power point presentation.

Important topics such as reducing the mortality rate in the state, making it anemia free, good health for all, tele medicine, mother and child care, hospital upgradation, usefulness of PPP model, benefiting from central government schemes, improving the quality of training institutes, emphasis on research institutes, vaccination, creating medical tourism hub, creating a healthy and happy society were discussed.

State Niti Aayog's Vice Chairman Ajay Singh, Member Secretary Anoop Shrivastava, Member K. Subramaniam gave suggestions on welfare measures for the benefit of the common people, good governance, quality of life and other welfare measures for determining the short, medium and long term vision and strategies made by the departments. State Niti Aayog's Vice Chairman Ajay Singh said that a good quality report should be made which will be useful for the government.

Secretary of the Department of Good Governance and Convergence, Rahul Bhagat, said that all the districts of our state have some specialty through which tourism can be encouraged by making them a center of attraction. Advisor Dr. Dheeraj Tiwari said that all the measures necessary for the good health of the citizens should be included in the document.

On this occasion, Director of Women and Child Development Department, Tulika Prajapati, Director Public Relations Ajay Aggarwal, senior officers of Health Family Welfare Department, Joint Director Dr. Neetu Gaudia along with committee members and nodal officers were present.
