When Virat Kohli was batting in the 15th over of the second ODI, a ball from Dhananjay de Silva hit Kohli's pad. On which the Sri Lankan team appealed strongly and the umpire declared Kohli out. Due to this, Kohli took DRS and due to Ultra Edge the umpire had to change his decision. The Sri Lankan players looked very angry at this. Captain Aslanka was seen arguing with the field umpire, while Jayasuriya was seen arguing with the reserve umpire.
