Discharge petition of land scam accused Dilip Ghosh rejected


Ranchi, March 12 (Hindustan Reporter) The court has rejected the discharge petition filed by Dilip Ghosh, director of Kolkata-based businessman Jagatbandhu Tea Estate, accused in the case of fraudulent sale and purchase of 4.55 acres of land occupied by the Army.

On February 27, the court of ED special judge Rajeev Ranjan had reserved the order after hearing the arguments of both the sides. The court announced its reserved order on Tuesday. The accused had filed a discharge petition in the case after receiving the police papers. After going to jail, Dilip Ghosh is currently on bail from the High Court from 28 November 2023. Dilip Ghosh has filed the petition on 12 January. Former Ranchi DC Chhavi Ranjan, Kolkata businessman Amit Aggarwal, Bhanu Pratap Prasad are also accused in this case.
