Landslides in China: A building collapsed in a landslide caused by heavy rains in Yulin village of Hengyang city of China. 18 people of the same family were buried in it. Out of which 12 people have died. Six people were injured. Rescue work has been started on the spot.
250 soldiers joined the rescue operation at the spot
According to reports, Typhoon Gaemi caused heavy rains in the north and southwest of China. Meanwhile, floods caused a landslide in Yuelin village of Hengyang city. In which a house collapsed and 18 people were buried. Rescue teams at the site recovered the bodies of 12 people from the debris. While six injured people have been admitted to the hospital. About 250 soldiers are engaged in rescue work at the site. According to the Meteorological Department, there is still a possibility of heavy rain in many cities.
Hurricane Gammy wreaked havoc
Recently, Typhoon Gammy wreaked havoc in Taiwan. Due to this storm, eight people died in Taiwan and many were injured. 259 people have been affected by the storm in Koh Siung area. At that time, 125 people were injured in Tainan and 120 in Taichung. Many houses have been damaged due to the storm. Due to the impact of the storm, heavy rains are still expected in the eastern and southern areas of Taiwan.
