The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to stop the daily allowance of women players participating in national camps. Women cricketers are very disappointed and upset with the decision of not giving any kind of daily allowance.
A PCB official said the players were not being paid daily allowance as the board was providing them accommodation and meals thrice a day.
The women players are disappointed with this decision of the Pakistan Board. The women players attending the training camp in Multan for the upcoming domestic cricket series against the South African women's team feel that the board's decision is not fair as they come from different parts of the country. The South African team has already reached Multan and is preparing for the white ball series starting on September 17. The series is being seen as part of the preparations for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup to be held in the United Arab Emirates next month.
