Disadvantages of eating tea and pakoras in the rain: When it rains, one feels like enjoying tea and pakoras with partner or friends in the balcony. Many people cannot stop themselves from doing this even if they want to. Even if you like the combination of these two food items, it is not good at all from the health point of view. India's famous dietician Aayushi Yadav told what harm can happen by eating tea and pakoras together.

Disadvantages of eating pakoras with tea

1. High calories and fat

A lot of oil is used to fry pakoras, which makes them high in calories and fat. Regularly eating pakoras with tea during the rainy season can lead to weight gain and problems like obesity. Obesity can cause many serious health problems.

2. Indigenisation

Pakoras contain a lot of oil, which makes them very difficult to digest. The caffeine in the tea and the excess oil in pakoras can cause problems like heartburn, indigestion and acidity, especially for those who already suffer from digestive problems.

3. Nutritional deficiency

Tea and pakoras are not a part of a balanced diet. Mostly gram flour, potatoes and other vegetables are used to make pakoras, but their nutritional value is lost in the frying process. This food combination does not provide the body with essential nutrients like proteins, vitamins and minerals.

4. Increase in cholesterol

Eating fried pakoras can increase the level of bad cholesterol in the body. LDL is the main cause of heart disease. Regular consumption of fried foods can lead to plaque accumulation in the arteries, which can lead to serious health problems like heart attack and stroke.

5. Increase in blood sugar levels

Excess sugar in tea and excess carbohydrates in pakoras can cause blood sugar levels to rise rapidly. This can be especially harmful for diabetics. Therefore, it is better to consume both things in minimal quantities.
