Disabled people have divine powers, serving them is like serving God – BL Verma

Badaun, July 18 (HS). Union Minister of State BL Verma distributed a total of 1460 assistive devices worth one crore 30 lakh 50 thousand rupees to 791 Divyangjans at the Police Parade Ground on Thursday. Union Minister of State BL Verma said on this occasion that Divyangjans have divine power, serving them is like serving God. Reservation for Divyangjans in government jobs has been increased from 03 percent to 04 percent. Divyansh Kendra will also be established in Badaun.

Union Minister of State BL Verma said that Divyangjans are no less than anyone else. They should take advantage of government schemes and improve their social and economic status. The government is standing with them at every step. He said that the government has increased the categories of Divyangjans from 07 to 21. This will benefit more and more Divyangjans. The minister also said that the Prime Minister is working on the policy of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Prayas and Sabka Vishwas.

He said that there should not be any disabled person in Badaun who does not have assistive devices as per his requirement. He is continuously making efforts for this. On this occasion, Sadar MLA Mahesh Chandra Gupta, Bilsi MLA Harish Shakya, Dataganj MLA Rajiv Kumar Singh, BJP District President Rajiv Kumar Gupta, District Panchayat President Varsha Yadav, former MLA Prem Swaroop Pathak, former MLA Shekhupur Dharmendra Shakya, former Chairman of Nagar Palika Parishad Badaun Deepmala Goyal were present.
