Director RCH inspected UCHC Sirsi

Jaipur, 23 May (HS). Director RCH Dr. Sunit Singh Ranaut inspected the Urban Community Health Center, Sirsi on Thursday. Project Director (Immunization) Dr. Raghuraj Singh was also present with him.

Dr. Ranawat conducted a thorough inspection of all the health services available at the Community Health Centre and gave necessary instructions to the medical officers. He instructed to further improve the arrangements in the OPD so that patients can get treatment easily. He said that arrangements should be made so that patients do not have to stand in queues for a long time for registration and checkup in the hospital.

He instructed all the personnel and medical officers to remain in uniform while on duty and necessarily carry identity cards with them. He said that patients and their families should be treated well in the hospital and there should be proper arrangements for shade and drinking water for them. In view of heat wave and heat stroke, provision of coolers and fans should be ensured in all the wards. Also, concrete arrangements should be made for the treatment of seasonal and heat-related diseases.

Dr. Ranawat gave instructions to improve the biowaste management system in the ward, use hub cutter in the ward, keep dustbins as per color code and dispose of biowaste as per rules. He said that all medicines should be made available in the hospital under the Chief Minister Free Medicine Scheme. He also inspected the MCHN session organized at the health center. During the inspection, it was found that after vaccination of the beneficiaries, real time data was being entered in U-WIN. All the beneficiaries were informed and called as per the due-list. All health services were being provided to the present beneficiaries. The beneficiaries expressed satisfaction towards the services being provided at the CHC.

Seeing the rush for vaccination, the Director (RCH) directed that under the Prime Minister's Safe Motherhood Day campaign, vaccination should also be done on 9th, 18th and 27th of the month. Apart from this, MCHN days should be organized two days a week (Thursday and one additional day).
