Varun Dhawan starrer Atlee’s film ‘Baby John’ is going to hit the theaters on December 25. At the same time, Allu Arjun’s much awaited film ‘Pushpa 2’ is also making waves in theatres. Speculation has intensified that the box office collections of both the films may affect each other. However, Atlee has dismissed these rumors and refused to call it a clash.
Attlee’s statement on clash
At an event held in Mumbai, Atlee clarified that there is no rivalry of any kind between ‘Pushpa 2’ and ‘Baby John’. He said:
“It’s an ecosystem. I and Allu Arjun sir are very good friends. Our film is releasing in the Christmas week on 25th December, and it would be wrong to call it a clash. There is no conflict of any kind here.”
Atlee also revealed that he was already aware that the release of ‘Pushpa 2’ was shifted from August to December, but his film was already planned for Christmas week.
“We are all professionals and we know how to handle these situations.”
Friendship and conversation with Allu Arjun
Atlee told that Allu Arjun wished the team of ‘Baby John’ and also spoke to Varun Dhawan on phone.
“Allu sir called me and congratulated me for the film. He also talked to Varun. We have good relations and friendship. This industry is like an ecosystem, where everyone respects each other.”
Atlee’s confidence about ‘Baby John’
Atlee is very confident about his film. Enthusiasm about ‘Baby John’ is also being seen among the audience. He said that there is no tension regarding the film and every film has a different audience.
Atlee’s upcoming projects
After giving the blockbuster film ‘Jawaan’ with Shahrukh Khan, Atlee is now working on his next big film with another Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.
“My upcoming project with Salman Khan is going to be a blast. It will be announced soon.”
