Direct recruitment of Patwaris on 1963 posts will be done through Staff Selection Board in Rajasthan

Ajmer, June 18 (HS). Direct recruitment of Patwaris will be done on 1 thousand 963 posts in Rajasthan through Rajasthan Staff Selection Board. Out of these, 1680 posts are reserved for non-TSP (non-scheduled area) and 283 for TSP area (scheduled area). Recruitment will be done. Its administrative and financial approval has been received. In the recruitment, Economically Weaker Section (EWS quota) will be 10 percent, Scheduled Caste (SC) 16 percent, Scheduled Tribe (ST) 12 percent, Other Backward Class (OBC) 21 percent and ABC quota will be five percent. Maximum 74 posts are for Bhilwara and 73 posts for Kekri. Patwari recruitment was announced by the government during the budget 2024-25.

The Revenue Board has instructed all the collectors to send category wise recommendations for the number of posts for district wise recruitment. Recruitment action will be taken by the government soon. The Revenue Board has so far received category wise information about vacant posts from Sirohi, Dausa, Sri Ganganagar districts. Negligence is being shown in sending information from many districts. The collectors will have to calculate the sanctioned posts, working posts, vacant posts of Patwaris in the district and calculate the posts category wise for recruitment. The Revenue Board had sent a proposal for 2 thousand 998 posts of Patwaris in August 2023. The newly formed 1035 Patwar Mandals were also included in this. But this year approval was given only for 1963 posts.

The number of sanctioned posts of Patwaris in the Revenue Department is 12 thousand 666, but only 8 thousand 200 are working. Around 4 thousand 500 posts are vacant. The work is being done by giving additional charge of the vacant posts to Patwaris of other areas. In non-TSP areas, there are 59 posts in Alwar, 22 in Anupgarh, 44 in Balotra, 46 in Baran, 67 in Barmer, 41 in Beawar, 30 in Bharatpur, 33 in Bikaner, 37 in Bundi, 60 in Chittorgarh, 51 in Churu, 44 in Dausa, 46 in Didwana-Kuchaman, 53 in Deeg, 39 in Dholpur, 15 in Dudu, 28 in Sriganganagar, 44 in Gangapur City. There will be recruitment for 13 posts in Hanumangarh, 28 posts in Jaisalmer, 52 posts in Jalore, 57 posts in Jhalawar, 16 posts in Jhunjhunu, 53 posts in Jodhpur, Jodhpur Rural, 23 posts in Karauli, 31 posts in Khairthal-Tijara, 42 posts in Kota, 24 posts in Kotputli-Bahror, 51 posts in Nagaur, 22 posts in Neemkathana, 65 posts in Pali, 30 posts in Phalodi, 54 posts in Rajsamand, 18 posts in Sanchore, 32 posts in Sawaimadhopur, 36 posts in Shahpura, 8 posts in Sikar, 27 posts in Sirohi, 53 posts in Tonk, 39 posts in Udaipur. There will be recruitment for a total of 283 posts in the Scheduled Area in the TSP area.
