Direct contest for the posts of President, Vice President, Secretary and Deputy Secretary in the District Bar Association elections

Nainital, June 7 (HS). After nomination and scrutiny of nomination papers in the elections of District Bar Association Nainital, two candidates are left for the posts of President, Vice President, Secretary and Deputy Secretary. That means a direct contest has been decided for all these posts.

Chief Election Officer Neeraj Shah and Deputy Election Officer Deepak Ruwali said that on the last day Manish Mohan Joshi for the post of president, Tara Arya for the post of vice president, Pankaj Kumar and Sanjay Suyal for the post of secretary, Manish Kandpal and Archit Gupta for the post of deputy secretary and Preeti Shah, Manju Kotliya, Swati Parihar, Jamir Ahmed and Yashpal Arya for the post of member submitted their nomination papers. After checking the forms all the nominations were found to be correct. Former president Harishankar Kansal did not submit his nomination papers after receiving them. Thus now the main contest for the post of president is between Omkar Goswami and Manish Mohan Joshi.
